Michael Jacobson, Editorial Director

The co-founder of Very Media, Michael Jacobson is one of the most experienced, respected and versatile writers in Australia. A multiple award-winning journalist and best-selling novelist, he was the senior feature writer for the Gold Coast Bulletin for more than 20 years. During this time he was also the writer and editor of several specialist publications and columns. Michael joined Griffith University’s Office of Marketing and Communications as a specialist writer in 2013. In 2016, he became Communications Manager for the university’s Development and Alumni Office, creating and delivering content across all platforms to engage with thousands of graduates and supporters of the university. He co-founded Very Media in 2017 and since then has continued to affirm his writing skills in the education, business and communications sectors.
